Feasibility studies and capacity building

At the end of the war-lord era in Somalia, Arundel Resolution team members were retained by public and private parties to make front line assessments of the surviving capabilities of ports in Mogadishu, El Maan, Kismayo and Hobyo, and to recommend fast infrastructure upgrades to support food security initiatives and boost local employment.

We made a similar front line study of Umm Qasr port in Iraq, immediately after the fall of Saddam Hussein, on behalf of private investors who wanted to set up a port and logistics agency.

We have also performed ISPS Code assessments on behalf of ports in Sierra Leone and Ghana.
